Fenton Art Glass Silent Night on Cobalt Blue Hammered Colonial Lamp

We got really luck when one of our customers asked if we could sell a few pieces for her. One of my favorite items from her collection is the Fenton Silent Night on Cobalt Blue Satin glass hammered colonial lamp. aside from the fact the hand painting is wonderful, the colonial style lamps are really hard to fact. This lamp is from the 1994 Christmas Collection. Designer Frances Burton has taken Cobalt Blue and created a velvety surface to showcase her beautiful scene. Using metalic paints with a soft shimmer, she has captured the stillness and clarity of a deer who has been touched by the "Star". Her design was the first edition in the Christmas Star Series.
