360° Videos of Fenton Art Glass

Our "website guy" has been working on improving our website over the past week. He has uploaded +/-30 videos that provide a 360° View of Fenton Art glass pieces. I'd like to get some feedback from Fenton Customers regarding these videos. I'd really be grateful if you could visit the two links below and let me know you thoughts.

Feton Art Glass - Whose Signed The Artist?

Every wondered who the artist is that painted your Fenton Art Glass item? You can found a list of the artist names that was last updated in 2007 tucked away deep in the Fenton Art Glass website (http://www.fentonartglass.com/history/decorators.htm). It has not been updated in awhile, but I doubt Fenton has added many (or any) artist to the staff given the probelms they've had in the past year.

Fenton Art Glass featured in Washington Spaces

I came across a great article on the Washington Spaces website regarding the Fenton Art Glass Company. The writer, Lauren Kazlow, does a great job of touching on the history of the company and provides a brief update on the new Studio Glass Collection. You can read the article on thier website.

Fenton Art Glass Videos

We've been busy the past few days working on videos for several Fenton Art Glass pieces. As you know, many of the Fenton Art Glass items have painting or sandcarving that encircles that entire piece. We felt it would be better if our internet customers could see that all of the vase. We're not video professionals, so the lighting on some items is not so great. We're working to improve the picture, but several have already been uploaded to You Tube. Once the video are completed, we'll include them in our website. Here's one of our videos of the Fenton Art Glass Kelsye Murphy Robert Bomkamp Sail Away in Indigo Blue Vase:

Fenton Year Round Catalog

Last year, Fenton should offering new products two or three times during the year with deadlines for ordering the products. The production of these offerings were based on what was ordered. The problem this created was a new Fenton Dealer would have to wait until the next ordering period to stock thier store. Fenton developed the Year Round Catalog to have a limited selection of items available at all times.
We're placing our first order for the Year Round items on 02/20/09. They will arrive at our store around the middle of March. Customer will be able to place an order for these items and payment would not be due until it arrives. as with all Fenton Art Glass on our website, free shipping will apply.

A Fenton Art Glass First for Berry Patch Gifts

Last week we received a Fenton Burmese Epergne (6610 BR) and it's number 1250 of 1250 pieces. We've never had a piece that was the last one in the production. I understand low numbers on limited edition are more popular with collectors. Does the last in the production mean anything?

Is it more collectable? Is it less collectible? Or it doesn't matter?

Let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Joe Berry
